As mentioned in the tweet, I’m not in the business of convincing you to come to Australia. I did it (twice) and it was the best decision I ever made, but it doesn’t mean it was an easy one or that I don’t miss the UK or what working in the NHS (used) to be like.
I do, however, regularly get asked about jobs and how to apply out here and noticed on this week’s ACEM Bulletin that there are a lot of registrar job applications open, so now is the time if you are thinking of making the move.
I’m biased as I’m one of the directors of training at The Alfred and that’s why it goes top of the list. It’s an amazing place to work with one of the best training programs around. That being said, I’ve worked in plenty of other places and there are some crackers in the list below, too, so have a look at where might be the best fit for you.
